When the YWCA decided to close its doors in 2014, members of the Junior Board, a group of young professional women, were left to face a challenging predicament- disband with the rest of the YWCA, or do something different? Not wanting to leave a void in the local community, former members of the Junior Board of the YWCA came together and laid the foundation for a group that would be impactful. Months later, LeadHER Greenville was born. They created an amazing organization whose mission is to empower its members through professional development and outreach to the community.
